These Parmesan Rosemary Bread Straws Are So Easy And Tasty You Won’t Believe It

These Parmesan Rosemary Bread Straws Are So Easy And Tasty You Won't Believe It
Ingredients
- 2 sheets (1 box) puff pastry, thawed
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons chopped rosemary
- 1 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
- salt
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Carefully unfold the first pastry sheet onto a cutting board and brush with butter
- Sprinkle with 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, and 1/2 tablespoon rosemary.
- Add a dash of garlic powder and salt across the length of the pastry
- Fold the sheet in half upon itself.
- Brush the top of the folded sheet with beaten egg, and repeat the process with rosemary and grated parmesan cheese, garlic powder and salt.
- Use a knife to cut the pastry into roughly half inch strips.
- Twist the strips at each end in opposite directions creating a spiral effect. Stretch the strip slightly and pinch each end as you place the strip onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or a silpat.
- Repeat until your pan is full of strips, placing each strip about an inch apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until straws are lightly browned.
- Remove from oven, Allow to cool for 2 minutes, and serve.
